one of the many e-mails i have gotten lately.

i am here & quite well actually, just a little blog lazy ;)
i'm so sorry, especially since some of you were waiting for me to announce the winner of my RAK drawing.

...and i don't even know if anybody still reads this anymore, but here's the scoop:


you may have noticed the little kenner road blinky up at the top :)
i was guest designer in january & kl asked me to stay as a regular design team member :)
this made me happy & of course i excitedly obliged!

here are my projects for february with the gorgeous featherweight kit:
a little, baby wall hanging i made for a friend.
(made from a vintage kid's golden book cover

another wall hanging:
the backround is cut out from an old board game box.
i love old cardboard :)

and a little doll i made for my franki-sue with those
awesome industrial bobbins that come with the kit:
to make the torso, i just wrapped a little bit of batting around the bobbin with tulle, and then covered it in ribbon & paper pieces.

her head is made from an old plastic Christmas tree ornament covered in embroidery floss for her hair with a piece of doily for her hat.

hmmmmmm......
all of the detail explaining kind of doesn't make any sense.
i think i feel a tutorial coming on ;)

i was also busy making stuff for winter CHA with the beautiful new chatterbox products:


oh...i almost forgot to tell you the winners of my "guess my chatterbox shipment sized box" RAK.
